Thérèse A. Vaillant
October 2, 1929 – June 29, 2021 Thérèse Vaillant (nee Bonhomme), passed peacefully with family at home on Tuesday June 29 at the age of 91. She leaves behind her children Sonia Gleadle (Dan), Guy Vaillant (Lise), Rachel Vaillant (Roger Delaney) and grand-children Liz, André, Sonia as well as many much loved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters-in-law: Armand (Kay), Roger, Royal (Norma), Réné (Réjeanne), Gérard (Jacqueline) as well as her brothers/sisters-in-laws Roger, Laurier, Jeanette, Sonia and former husband and friend Harold.
Known to many family friends and extended family as “mom”, Terry, Theresa and Tante/Aunt Thérèse. She was a dedicated civil servant and retired to enjoy traveling, dancing, bridge, bowling at McArthur Lanes, golfing at Tecumseh in Gatineau and cards at the Centre Pauline-Charron. She took many trips with extended family and enjoyed many good times with close friends Ginette and Jacinthe.
What Terry valued most was the time she spent with family and friends.
The family will have a small private service and a ‘Celebration of Life’ will be held at a later date.

Thérèse Vaillant (née Bonhomme), est décédée paisiblement en famille la maison le mardi 29 juin l'âge de 91 ans. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants Sonia Gleadle (Dan), Guy Vaillant (Lise), Rachel Vaillant (Roger Delaney) et ses petits-enfants Liz, André, Sonia ainsi que plusieurs nièces et neveux bien-aimés. Elle a été précédée par ses frères et belles-sœurs : Armand (Kay), Roger, Royal (Norma), Réné (Réjeanne), Gérard (Jacqueline) ainsi que ses frères/belles-sœurs Roger, Laurier, Jeanette , Sonia et l'ancien mari et ami Harold.
Connue par de nombreux amis de la famille et la famille élargie sous le nom de « maman », Terry, Theresa et Tante/tante Thérèse. Elle était une fonctionnaire dévouée et a pris sa retraite pour profiter des voyages, de la danse, du bridge, du bowling McArthur Lanes, du golf Tecumseh Gatineau et des cartes au Centre Pauline-Charron. Elle a fait de nombreux voyages avec sa famille et a passé de bons moments avec ses amies proches Ginette et Jacinthe.
Ce que Terry appréciait le plus était le temps qu'elle passait avec sa famille et ses amis. La famille aura un petit service privé et une « Célébration de la vie » aura lieu une date ultérieure.
