    Passed away on May 29th, 2017 at the Extendicare, Kingston.
    He was the son of the late Edmond Dionne and the late Yvonne Demers.

    He leaves in sorrow his beloved wife Andree Dionne (nee Bureau)
    His loving children Richard, Marc (Nicole), Paul, Joanne and Celina (Terry).

    Papa's Cherished grandchildren Randy, Kristine, Emily, Crystal Lee, Chad, Celina, Dana and Bradley.

    Dear Brother of Maurice (the late Cecile ), Roland (Gisele), Gerard, Henri (Nicole), Claire (Pierre), Armand (Pierrette), Gilbert (Claudette) and Jean-Pierre. He was predeceased by his brother Lucien (Gisele).

    He also leaves many nephews, nieces and friends.

    A Memorial Service will be held on Friday June 9th, 2017 at 1:30 pm at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home Chapel (180 Montreal Road, Ottawa, Ontario K1L 1B4 - 613-241-3680). Family and Friends may pay their respects from 12:30 pm.

    In lieu of flowers donation in Memory of Robert (Bob) Dionne to the Children's Cancer Society would be appreciated. Tributes may be sent to www.racinerobertgauthier.com

    Obituary of Gerard Dionne

    Peacefully surrounded by his family in the comfort of his home on June 4, 2018 at City View Retirement Community at the age of 82.

    Son of the late Edmond Dionne and the late Yvonne Demers. Loving father of Serge (Jasveer Bal), the late Denis, Charles and Brigitte (Richard Rambaran), cherished grandfather of Angela, Ethan and Melina. Dear brother of Roland (Gisèle), Henri (Nicole), Claire (Pierre), Armand (Pierrette), Gilbert (Claudette) and Jean-Pierre. He also leaves his sisters-in-law Gisèle and Andrée, as well as many nephews, nieces and friends. He was also predeceased by his three brothers Maurice (Cécile), Lucien and Robert. The family would like to thank the staff, management and nurses at City View Retirement Community for the exceptional care provided. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday June 8, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home Chapel (180 Montreal Road, Ottawa). The family will receive condolences from 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Il était le fils de feu Edmond Dionne et de feu Yvonne Demers. Il fut prédécédé par trois frères Maurice (Cecile), Lucien et Robert. La famille désire remercier le personnel, la gestion, infirmiers et infirmières à City View Retirement Community pour leurs exellents soins prodigués. Un service commémoratif sera célébré le 8 juin 2018 à 13h30 dans la chapelle de la Maison Funéraire Racine, Robert & Gauthier (180, chemin Montréal, Ottawa). La famille va recevoir les condoléances à compter de 13h. Au lieu de fleurs, des dons à la société canadienne du cancer serait grandement appréciés.
