    • Jean Baptiste Foisy operated a tobacco store with pool tables while living with his family around the corner at 150 Cathcart Street. He was the son of Alexis Foisy, one of Bytown’s
      first tinsmiths. The family’s skills may be refl ected in the building’s prominent metal cornice, restored by current owners, Donna Kearns and Peter Thomas Gaby.
