Passed away surrounded by his family, on September 1st, 2013. Dear son of the late Napoléon Morrissette and the late Joséphine Rochon. Beloved husband for 69 years of Rita Proulx. Devoted father of Jean-Serge (Marthe Gratton), Patricia M. Gauthier, Mario (Suzanne Malboeuf) and the late Denis. Adored grandfather of Karl, Marie-Josée, Sébastien (their mother Louise Roy), Dominique, Annie, Marie-Michelle, Stéphane and Natalie. Cherished great grandfather of Frédérike, Maélie, Samuel, Xavier, Nikolas, Théo, Léa, Gabrielle, Caleb and Florence. Dear brother-in-law of Jacques Proulx, (Noëlla Nadon), Lucienne (the late Robert Vaive), Bernadette, Gérard Plante (the late Marie Proulx) and Nelson Sanscartier (the late Lise Proulx). He also leaves many nephews, nieces and friends. Predeceased by his siblings: Paul-Eugène (Germaine), Roméo (Marguerite), Albert (Madeleine), Juliette and Alberta (Paul-Émile). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses from the fourth floor A of the Montfort Hospital. Family will receive condolences at 9:00 a.m. at the church. A Funeral Service will be held at Notre-Dame- De-Lourdes Church, 435 Montreal Road, Ottawa, on September 7, 2013 at 9:30 a.m.

- Henri et Rita Morrissette ont celebre leur 55e anniversaire de mariage le 28 aout 1999. Ils ont eu une belle famille. Ils sont demeures sur la rue Papineau pendant de nombreuses annees. Henri a ete un grand sportif dans tous les sports, et surtout a la crosse.Il a fait partie de nombreuses organisations: pendant de nombreuses annees, il fut president de la St-Vincent-de-Paul, president et organisateur pour des banquets de l' Amicale Brebeuf, directeur a la Caisse Populaire Ste-Anne, membre de l'Ordre de Jacques-Cartier, directeur de la Societe St-Jean-Baptiste, etj'en passe - il y en a trop. La photo de famille presente les enfants, Jean-Serge, Patricia, Mario, et les petits enfants.
