TAPP, Madeleine It is with sadness that the mother of our hearts passed away at the age of 79 on January 26, 2018 at the Maycourt Hospice. Dear daughter of the late Hector Tapp and the late Fidélia Farrell. She leaves in sorrow her niece Izaudara Godchild, her daughters of the heart Diana Harvey, Lynn Gorney and Cassandra Bark (Harris) and sons of the heart Alain Brazeau, Bryan Ashley and Sylvio Labelle. She was also Grandmaman of the heart to Marissah and Natan Harvey. She was also predeceased by her siblings Hector, Donald and Lucille Johnson. A special thank you to Dr. Jennifer Brodeur for her care, compassion and support. For all the staff at LHINN (former CCAC) for their care and a special thank you to nurse Vicky who made my Mother smile and laugh on days that were so dull. Your care and compassion were exceptional. Another special thank you to the staff and volunteers at Maycourt Hospice, without all of you our Mom's Journey would not have been as peaceful and comforting as it was. We cannot thank everyone enough. She will be sadly missed by her loving dog Zoey whom she loved dearly. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home Chapel (180 Montreal Road, Ottawa). The family will receive condolences from 1:30 p.m. Burial to take place a later date. In Memory of Madeleiene, donations to Maycourt Hospice would be appreciated.
