A sad accident occured yesterday afternnon at the Canadian Pacific, formely the St-Lawrencenand Ottawa railway crossing on the Montreal road, when Victor Landry, a wood dealer of 312 Clarence street, received fatal injuries from being ground under a passing train. As a result he died shortly afterwards in the Protestant hospital. His skull was fractured, brain laid bare, one leg cut completely off, and the other badly mangled.
