Au 301½ Clarence, au-dessus de la boucherie, il y avait, avant Gérard Nadon, les Mercier et leurs enfants. Je me rappelle de Abby, Fernand, et de Rita; j’ai oublié le nom des autres. Fernand était de notre âge et Rita a fait sa première communion la même année que moi. Quand ma mère est décédée, c’est Mme Mercier qui s’est occupée de ma soeur Françoise pendant une semaine, car cette dernière n’avait que quelques mois.
