Uncle Ed,
As a little girl I remember always sitting on your knee when you were near. I have always known that you love me, you were never shy about telling or showing me, your hugs were the best. Your eyes that smiled and your chuckle that was contagious will remain in my mind forever.
You have never missed calling me on my birthday no matter where or how far away I was, I will miss your voice on Monday.
To All of the Family,
Although I cannot be there in person, you know I am there in heart.
All my love,
Aim

My sincere condolences to all of the Lafontaine family. Growing up on Bolton Street, I fondly remember my whole family being immersed with them. My parents, older brothers and sisters were friends with them while Irene and I were best buddies with the nieces. While those days are long gone they are never far away in our collective memories. Godspeed, Eddy, there are many of my clan on the other side to greet you. Imagine the party going on about now. To those who remain here, Eddy will always be a cherished friend.
