Michel a su gagner l’amour, l’amitié et le respect de tous ceux qu’il a rencontrés au cours de sa vie et de sa carrière. Il manquera terriblement à sa famille ainsi qu’à ses nombreux amis.
À sa résidence, le 2 février 2010, à l’âge de 65 ans et 9 mois est décédé subitement Michel St-Amand, époux de Christiane Plamondon. Il était le fils de feu Joseph St-Amand et de feu Rollande Crête. Il demeurait à Cap-Santé, natif d'Ottawa.
La famille recevra les condoléances le samedi 6 février 2010 à 10h30, en l’église Sainte-Agnès de Donnacona, où les funérailles auront lieu à 11h30, et de là au Columbarium Roger Benoit & Fils Ltée, Donnacona.

Michel laisse dans le deuil outre son épouse, sa soeur Monique, ses beaux-frères et belles-soeurs: Jean-Claude Plamondon, Richard Plamondon (Diana Vachon), Raymond Plamondon (Andrée Beaudet), Linda Plamondon (Serge Chouinard), plusieurs oncles, tantes, ses neveux et nièces: Charles et Nicolas; Nancy; Julie, Mélissa, Vicky et Luc; Martin; Manon, Brenda, Lise et Linda; ses filleul(e)s: Patrick, Lyne, Miguel et Caroline, ainsi que plusieurs cousins, cousines et ami(e)s.

Michel easily won the love, friendship and respect of all those he met through his life and his career. He will be dearly missed by his family and all his many friends.
A native of Ottawa, Michel passed away suddenly on February 2, 2010 at his residence in Cap-Santé, Québec, at the age of 65. He was the husband of Christiane Plamondon and the son of the late Joseph St-Amand and the late Rollande Crête also of Ottawa.
The family will receive condolences on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 10:30 at Sainte-Agnès de Donnacona church where a funeral service will be held at 11:30 under the direction of the Centre funéraire Roger Benoit & Fils Ltée, Donnacona.
A celebration of Michel’s life will be held in the Outaouais, Saturday February 20, 2010. Information will be available shortly by contacting either (613) 830-1870 or (819) 682-4250.
Besides his wife, Michel leaves his sister Monique, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Jean-Claude Plamondon, Richard Plamondon (Diane Vachon), Raymond Plamondon (Andrée Beaudet), Linda Plamondon (Serge Chouinard), many uncles, and aunts, his nephews and nieces: Charles and Nicolas; Nancy; Julie, Mélissa, Vicky and Luc; Martin, Manon, Brenda, Lise and Linda; his godchildren: Patrick, Lyne, Miguel and Caroline as well as many cousins and dear friends.
