Passed away peacefully on June 29, 2021 at the age of 84 years. She was the daughter of the late Leopold Champagne and the late Rose-Anna Roy and the beloved wife of the late Alvarez Portugaise.
She is survived by her children Guy (Brenda), Pauline (John) and Michel. Adored grandmother of Eric (Sophie), Shanel, Mathieu, William, Alexis and great-grandmother of Léah. She also leaves in sadness her brother Johnny (Carmen) and her sister Madeleine (Vito), as well as several nephews, nieces and friends. She was predeceased by many brothers and sisters.
The family would like to thank the Ottawa General Hospital and the Montfort Hospital for their amazing care provided.
A memorial service will be held in the privacy of the family on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. The family invites you to be part of the celebration by visiting the web casting:

Décédée paisiblement le 29 juin 2021 l’âge de 84 ans. Elle était la fille de feu Léopold Champagne et de feu Rose-Anna Roy et l’épouse bien-aimée de feu Alvarez Portugaise.
Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants Guy (Brenda), Pauline (John) et Michel. Grand-mère adorée d'Eric (Sophie), Shanel, Mathieu, William, Alexis et arrière-grand-mère de Léah. Elle laisse également dans le deuil son frère Johnny (Carmen) et sa sœur Madeleine (Vito), ainsi que plusieurs beaux-frères, belles-sœurs, neveux, nièces et ami(e)s. Elle fut précédée par plusieurs frères et sœurs.
La famille désire remercier l’Hôpital Général d’Ottawa et l’Hôpital Montfort pour leurs soins prodigués.
