Passed away peacefully on Tuesday September 30, 2014. Dearly beloved wife of the late Roland Damas Guindon. Daughter of the late Arthur Côté and the late Antoinette Dubord. Loving mother of André (Andrea), Michelle (Claude), Gilles (Patricia) and Danielle (Yves) and the late Francine . Cherished grandmother of Anne-Marie (Jordy), Elise, Caroline, Eric, Matthew, Paul, Josée and Martin. Survived by her brothers André and Marcel and sister Louise Attard (Victor). Predeceased by her brothers Roger and Bruno. The Funeral Mass will be held at St-Gabriel Roman Catholic Church, 55 Appleford Street, Ottawa on Monday October 6, 2014 at 10 a.m. The family will receive condolences at the church from 9:30 a.m. Interment Notre-Dame Cemetery.

Au 317 Clarence vivaient Arthur et Antoinette Côté avec leurs enfants Roger, Bruno, André et Jacqueline (qui a épousé Roland Guindon). Arthur travaillait à la Ferme expérimentale du gouvernement fédéral; il avait un bon emploi d’agronome. Il a longtemps touché l’orgue à l’église Ste-Anne. Son fils André était un de mes grands amis; nous avons longtemps été membres de la même gang, avec Gilles Roy, P. Laliberté, les Verdon, E. Lanoue, R. Lavergne, Guindon, etc…
Bruno avait quelques années de plus que nous; on l’appelait «Prune». Il a travaillé chez les Greenberg, dans le voisinage, propriétaires d’un commerce de poches de sucre. L’ancien maire d’Ottawa, Lorry Greenberg, était leur fils. Il se souvenait du nom de Prune quand il a pris ses fonctions à l’Hôtel de Ville. Plus tard, Bruno a travaillé pour la Poste.
